🚩🚩 1. AA and Allied Forces Seize Several Military Camps in Ayeyarwady Region

In Ingapu Township, Myanaung District, Ayeyarwady Region, military camps stationed by the junta forces in several villages were reportedly attacked and captured by the Arakan Army (AA) and allied forces.

Initial attacks on junta military camps in villages connected to Laymyethna Township began in early June, and by the afternoon of June 29, at least three camps had been seized, according to a military source.

Following intense clashes that occurred both day and night, the areas captured by AA and allied forces were said to be located just a few miles away from the Tatmadaw’s elite training school (TTC-5) in Kyaungkauk, Hinthada District.

Earlier, during the clashes in January and February, the AA and its allies also managed to capture several junta camps in Shwe Thaung Yan and Thabaung.

Currently, heavy fighting continues in Yekyi, Laymyethna, and Ingapu townships in Ayeyarwady Region, and the junta has reportedly imposed strict military inspections along all entry and exit routes between Ayeyarwady and Yangon Region.

The airstrike resulted in the destruction of four civilian homes and one Buddhist monastery.

In a separate incident at 10:00 PM on the same night, the junta used a MIG-29 jet fighter to carry out another airstrike on the USDP (Union Solidarity and Development Party) office in Sintgu Town, according to the Pakokku Federal Unit (PaKaPha) under Pyin Oo Lwin District.

In Kantbalu Township, Sagaing Region, a patrol unit from the junta forces returning from the Mu Soon checkpoint near Nikon Town was ambushed, resulting in the deaths of four soldiers, according to the Nyaung Paung Yae PaKaPha.

The ambush took place at 6:15 AM on June 30, when a combined force of junta troops and Pyusawhti militia—six personnel on three motorcycles—was ambushed by allied resistance forces.

As a result of the attack, four junta and Pyusawhti members were killed, and two others were severely injured. Due to heavy support fire from Mu Soon checkpoint and Zee Kone police station, the resistance forces had to withdraw without sustaining casualties.

This operation was reportedly led by the Kantbalu Counter-Revolution Army (KBU-CRA) in coordination with the Kantbalu Htaw Gyi PaKaPha, Kantbalu Lightning PaKaPha, and Kantbalu Forest PaKaPha.
