📌📌 2. Strike Forces Urge Nationwide Movement for Liberation in Solidarity with Daw Aung San Suu Kyi
June 20
Revolutionary strike forces have issued a call for continued nationwide resistance in solidarity with Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, who remains unjustly detained by the brutal military junta.
They emphasized that the 80-year-old public leader continues her unwavering efforts for the liberation of the country from military dictatorship. In solidarity, the public must also persist in the fight for freedom, they urged.
At a time when leaders and revolutionaries remain active in the resistance even from within prison walls, the people—who are now effectively living under open-air detention—must recognize that revolution is the only viable path to defeat the military junta.
They clarified that the revolutionary path cannot be completed solely through armed struggle. A multi-front resistance strategy is essential, including diplomatic efforts, financial resistance, psychological warfare, and civil disobedience. Public participation in such movements, which engage all social strata and sectors, is crucial.
Since national liberation is the shared responsibility of all citizens, the strike forces encouraged everyone—from every profession and position in society—to actively participate in the revolution, each from their own front line.
