📌📌 1. Revolutionary Leaders Attend Graduation Ceremony of BPLA’s 9th Basic Military Training Course in Ta’ang Region

The graduation ceremony for the 9th weekly Basic Military Training Course of the Burma People’s Liberation Army (BPLA), held at a location in the Ta’ang Region of northern Shan State, was attended by prominent revolutionary leaders including Dr. Zaw Wai Soe, Minister of Health and Education from the National Unity Government (NUG), and General Tar Bhone Kyaw, General Secretary of the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA), according to a statement issued today by the BPLA.
The event took place on June 7 and included the participation of:

General Tar Bhone Kyaw, General Secretary of the PSLF/TNLA
Khun Bi Htoo, Deputy Chair of the Interim Executive Council (IEC) of Karenni State

The leaders underscored the importance of unity among diverse revolutionary forces to achieve victory, emphasizing that only through cohesive collaboration can the military dictatorship be brought to an end swiftly.
At the ceremony, newly graduated soldiers were armed and organized into a new battalion under Military Region 203, according to reports.

📌📌 2. Karenni State Consultative Council Calls for Unified Armed Struggle Until a Federal Democracy is Established
June 21 — Karenni State
On the occasion of the 150th Karenni National Day observed today, the Karenni State Consultative Council (KSCC) issued a call for united armed resistance until a federal democratic union accepted by the people can be established.
In its statement, the KSCC urged all people to rise in revolution to reclaim and assert popular sovereignty. It commemorated the historic achievements of Karenni national leaders who resisted both domestic and foreign incursions and advanced the region’s quest for independence through political negotiation and diplomatic skill.
Today, Karenni revolutionaries continue their legacy by working in unity with all armed forces operating in Karenni State and nationwide toward shared political goals.
The KSCC reminded that sovereignty resides with the people and called on all to join hands in the struggle for self-determination and the creation of a federal union. It also encouraged resistance that would liberate all regions from the grip of dictatorship and lead to a strong, united federal nation.

📌📌 3. Don Battalion Instructor Sentenced to One Year Hard Labor and Imprisonment Over Deaths of Two Trainees

The Strategic Office of Division 33 has announced that a Don Battalion instructor was sentenced to one year of hard labor and imprisonment for breaching regulations in connection with the deaths of two trainees from the 2nd Weekly Basic and Special Operations Training Course, held by Don Battalion under the 2nd Military Column.
Following the incident, Division 33’s commanding officer led an internal investigation. According to findings:
One trainee died due to brain infection caused by dengue virus.
The other succumbed to a lung infection accompanied by severe hemorrhagic coughing.
The investigation found that the instructor had failed to report the trainees' poor health in time and had denied them timely medical care, violating military protocols. On June 8, disciplinary action was taken: the instructor was sentenced to one year of hard labor and imprisonment and was discharged from his role.
Families of the deceased were contacted and informed accordingly. Don Battalion expressed deep regret and issued a formal apology to the public and the trainees’ families, acknowledging the emotional pain caused.
Don Battalion, which operates alongside KNU/KNLA forces against the junta, frequently receives defections from junta troops and military conscripts who no longer wish to serve under the military regime.

📌📌 4. TNLA’s Urban Development Team Upgrades Roads in Namhkam Township
June 21 — Namhkam Township, Northern Shan State
In Namhkam Township, located in Military Command Region-8 of the Ta’ang Region, the PSLF/TNLA’s Township Urban Development Team has been upgrading deteriorated roads with concrete paving, according to a press release from the TNLA’s Information and Public Relations Office.
Starting on June 15, roads in Ward 2 of Namhkam town, previously in poor condition, have been reinforced with concrete to improve transportation for local residents.
In addition to road upgrades, the team has undertaken sanitation projects such as clearing roadside drains, cleaning up trash, and digging new drainage channels.
Earlier on June 4, the team repaired roads in Ward 3 and cleared overgrown areas within public gardens. The TNLA's administration in Namhkam also led the construction of a new bridge between Man Lwel and Taw Hpel villages in neighboring Hsipaw Township.
In May, the Township Urban Development Team carried out various infrastructure improvements in Namhkam and Hsipaw, including road repairs, bridge construction, and expansion of clean water access to address local needs.
