In Hmawbi Township, Yangon Region, revolutionary forces launched a mine attack on the Hmawbi Central Police Station, which operates under the control of the military junta, using two remote-detonated mines, according to a statement from the Yangon Army (YA).

At around 10:25 p.m. on June 27, two remote-controlled mines were launched, each rigged with hand grenades, targeting the police stationed at the compound.

The revolutionary fighters reported that the attack was accurately targeted and may have caused casualties among the junta’s police.

The operation was jointly conducted by the Yangon Army and the Western District PDF. They warned the public to avoid junta-related locations—military bases, police stations, and personnel areas—since further attacks will continue to target military junta infrastructure.

June 28
A military column looting civilian property in Magway Region set fire to a camp belonging to the People’s Democratic Army (PDA), causing estimated losses of about 10 million kyats, according to a PDA statement.

The military convoy from Division 101 departed Pakokku heading toward Pauk, passing through several villages. During the offensive, it burned down PDA Subdivision 219’s camp.

Although no weapons were lost in the fire, the camp reportedly contained supplies donated by the public valued at roughly 10 million kyats.

The same convoy reportedly looted high-value civilian property from homes in Kama Township and surrounding villages that are sheltering internally displaced people.

According to PDA estimates, the convoy comprised more than 140 vehicles transporting over 1,000 junta troops.

Since early June, this supply convoy has faced relentless resistance attacks from joint revolutionary forces, including Kama PDF, Mying PDF, Pauk PDF, Pakokku District battalions, Column 8, and other local units—preventing them from reaching their destination.

In Nawnghkio Township, which lies within Ta'ang Region Military Command Zone 3 in northern Shan State, intense clashes are ongoing between junta forces and the Ta'ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) in six locations.

The clashes have been taking place near the villages of Lonsan, Myat Chin Nu, Lonwai, Nyan Taw, Nawnglin, and Nawng Aw.

According to TNLA, the junta forces responded with overwhelming firepower, using 45 air-dropped bombs and 32 heavy artillery rounds.

In the battle between Nawnglin and Nawng Aw villages alone, junta aircraft reportedly dropped 20 bombs and fired 31 artillery shells. During the clashes near Lonsan, two bombs were dropped by a jet fighter.

Additionally, the villages of Myat Chin Nu, Lonwai, and Lonsan were hit by 22 air-dropped bombs. A 500-pound bomb was dropped on Nyan Taw village by jet fighter, and one artillery round was fired toward Ummatkhar village, which was not a combat zone.

On June 26, fighting was also reported in Nawngfar, Nyan Taw, Lonsan, Ummatkhar, and Nawnglin villages. The junta used 70 artillery rounds, 32 bombs, and drones in those engagements.
