๐ฉ๐ฉ 1. Three Military Outposts in Hmualpi Village, Tedim Township, Seized by Chin Resistance Forces

Chin resistance forces have seized three military outposts stationed in Hmualpi village, Tedim Township, Chin State, resulting in the death of at least 15 junta soldiers and the capture of a significant cache of weapons and ammunition, according to reliable sources.
The operation began on June 26 and concluded with the successful capture of all three outposts by June 28. During the fighting, some junta troops were captured alive, and a large amount of weapons and ammunition was seized.
The assault was led by the Chin National Army (CNA) and jointly carried out with PDF Zoland and CNDF (Chin National Defense Force) units. While at least 15 junta soldiers were killed, three members of the Chin resistance forces also fell in battle.
Separately, between June 26 and 27, junta columns advancing into Chin State clashed with the CDF-CDM Siyin joint force, resulting in the death of one CDF fighter, while six junta troops were killed and three others captured alive.
As of now, the military situation around Hmualpi village remains tense, and over 3,000 civilians have been displaced due to the fighting.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. Junta Naval Convoy Ascends the Chindwin River and Arrives in Monywa

A junta naval convoy that ascended the Chindwin River from Shin Phyu Shin Bridge in Sagaing City has now reached Monywa, according to resistance scout networks stationed along the Chindwin Riverbank villages.
On the morning of June 28, a group consisting of one cargo ship and three military vessels arrived in Monywa.
Along the way, these vessels fired heavy artillery into riverside villages, and upon arrival in Monywa, two paramotors dropped cluster bombs from the air, launched from Namakhone base.
As a result of the paramotor bombing, four male civilians from Tharyarkine village in Salingyi Township were killed, according to reports.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. Two Resistance Fighters Killed in Moebye and Hpasawng Battles, from 1106 Battalion and KPLA-B 626

Two resistance fighters from the 1106 Battalion of the DMO (under the Ministry of Defense of the National Unity Government) and the Karenni People’s Liberation Army – B 626 were killed in recent clashes in Moebye, Southern Shan State, and Hpasawng, Karenni State.
On June 27, in Moebye, Lieutenant John Newman Nene (aka Party) from the 1106 Battalion, operating under the Karenni Military Division of Southern Shan State, was killed in action.
Similarly, Sub-Lieutenant Robert Toe, from Section 3 of Battalion 626 under the Central Command of the Karenni Nationalities Defense Force (KNDF), was killed in the June 27 battle in Hpasawng.
The two fallen fighters have been honored as martyrs and national heroes who sacrificed their lives with dignity in the fight for federal democracy and freedom for the people. Official tributes have been issued in their memory.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 4. Two Civilian Homes Damaged by Junta Heavy Artillery in Kyaikhto

The Karen National Union (KNU) has reported that two civilian homes in Painne Kone Village, part of Pyinkadoe Konka Village Tract in Kyaikhto Township, Thaton District, located in Kawthoolei-administered territory, were damaged due to indiscriminate shelling by junta forces.
At 9:49 a.m. on June 15, without any armed engagement in the area, the junta’s Artillery Battalion No. 310 fired four 120mm artillery shells toward the vicinity of Painne Kone village.
Later, around 12 noon, the same battalion fired one more 120mm shell toward Zee Byaung Village, resulting in damage to another civilian house.
Additionally, at 7:40 p.m. on June 26, Infantry Battalion No. 598, based in Zalote Gyi, launched two 81mm mortar shells at Winkon Village, hitting and damaging another civilian residence.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 5. Junta Burns Down Min Kone Village in Sagaing Township

On June 27, following a surprise attack by resistance forces on junta troops stationed inside Min Kone Village, Sagaing Township, the junta forces retaliated by setting fire to large sections of the village, which comprises over 600 houses, according to local sources.
Since June 5, approximately 300 junta soldiers had launched a campaign to occupy the entire Min Kone operational area, setting fire to Kyin Village and Chaung Ma Gyi Village, and killing four civilians, including a respected village abbot. They had also garrisoned Chaung Ma Gyi and Ohnthazin villages.
Min Kone Village is home to culturally significant religious sites such as the Myothaintan Pagoda. The recent arson attack has damaged homes and buildings near these heritage sites. The current condition of the Min Kone Sayadaw Monastery remains unknown, according to one local resident.
Moreover, at 11:44 a.m. on June 28, a Mi-35 helicopter conducted three airstrikes on the eastern part of Sagaing Township, it was reported.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 6. Basic Military Training Graduations Held by Both Burma Army (BA) and Taungtha PDF

The People’s Defense Force (PDF) in Taungtha Township, Myingyan District, under Mandalay Region, which operates under Military Region No. 1 of the Ministry of Defense of the National Unity Government (NUG), held its 8th weekly basic military training graduation ceremony, it was announced.
The graduation was held on June 19 to honor the 80th birthday of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, leader of the democratic movement.
Likewise, the Burma Army, under the Command Headquarters of Military Region No. 1, also held a Basic Military Training (3/2025) oath-taking and graduation ceremony, as shown in official photos released.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 7. Four Underage Youths Returned to Families by PDF in Nyaung U Kyi Township

The People’s Defense Force (PDF) in Nyaung U Kyi Township has returned four underage youths who had come forward to join the resistance, back to their parents and guardians, according to a statement by the NUG’s Myingyan District PDF Command.
On June 20, the four boys, aged 15 and 17, from Nyaung U Kyi Township, had reached out via online communication expressing their interest in joining a resistance group. However, upon verification, it was found that all four were under the legal age for enlistment—two aged 15 and two aged 17.
The resistance group then contacted the Myingyan District PDF, which received the boys on June 26 and returned them to their parents on June 27.
The Myingyan District PDF stated that it is committed to operating in solidarity with the people, prioritizing the safety and protection of children and their families. The group further affirmed that it adheres to the Geneva Conventions, which prohibit the involvement of children in armed conflict.
