๐ฉ๐ฉ 1. All Junta Military Camps in Three Villages of Myaung and Pyu Townships Captured; Drones, Ammunition, and 16 Troops Including a Major Seized

On July 20, 2025, allied forces including the People’s Defense Force (PDF) Mandalay successfully captured all junta military camps located in Thanpin Kone village (Myaung Township), and Tharyet Kine and Myakanthar villages (Pyu Township), according to an official announcement.
During the operations, a drone jammer vehicle, drones and related equipment, as well as a large cache of weapons and ammunition, were seized from the enemy.
In addition, 16 junta troops, including one ranking officer (Major), were captured alive, and 15 enemy corpses were recovered. Reports state that the junta side suffered heavy casualties and injuries.
The operation was jointly carried out by PDF Mandalay, Myone Hman Defense Force (MDF Myaung), the Pyu Township PDF, and the SSTF unit.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. Pyu Militias Attack Civilians Harvesting Crops in Thilon Village, Shwebo Township; Clashes Erupt

According to Shwebo Crocodile, Pyu militias stationed in Thilon Village (Pyu village), Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region, launched an attack on civilians who were harvesting crops in the southern farmland area, using both heavy and light weaponry.
On the morning of July 19 at around 10 a.m., a coordinated strike was launched against the Pyu militia units using 60mm mortars, machine guns, and small arms, in commemoration of Martyrs’ Day.
The clash lasted for approximately 30 minutes, with Pyu reinforcements arriving from Pan Yone Pyu Village and Zee Phyu Kone Pyu Village, during which two RPGs were fired, though they did not cause damage, and the Pyu forces later withdrew.
Since January 21, 2024, Thilon Village has been under Pyu militia control, and many civilians who refused to live under their rule had fled to nearby areas. As of now, no confirmed casualty reports among the civilian population have been received.
This operation was carried out by Shwebo Crocodile, Firly Dragon Force, Shwebo People's Security Force (PLF), Shwebo Federal Army, HG Fighter, Shwebo Western Revolution Force, Dawng Fighters, Sone Yae Shwebo, Eye for Eye, Farmers Liberation Force (FIF), and the Bo Lin Yaung PDF (DPY).

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. Two Police Killed in Ambush on Junta Vehicle Near Milepost 318 on Yangon-Mandalay Expressway

On July 20, around 7:22 a.m., a junta vehicle traveling along Milepost 318 on the Yangon–Mandalay Expressway was ambushed by fighters from Myingyan District Battalion 4 and Battalion 10, according to reports.
During the ambush, two junta police officers aboard the vehicle were killed, and the following items were seized:
- Two BA-94 rifles
- Five magazines
- 123 rounds of 9mm ammunition
- 127 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition
The police vehicle was set on fire and destroyed, according to the report.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 4. Junta Police Station in Let Hse, Seikphyu Township, Attacked by Resistance Forces

On July 17 at 4:30 a.m., resistance forces led by Column 8 launched a coordinated raid on the Let Hse Police Station in Seikphyu Township, Magway Region, according to an official statement.
During the attack, the resistance successfully captured four police barracks and four bunkers within the station. However, due to a shortage of ammunition and the rapid arrival of junta reinforcements, they were forced to withdraw before securing the main building and two other bunkers, Column 8 reported.
In the course of the battle:
- Three resistance fighters were injured.
- Two fighters from allied forces, named Bo Naga and Bo Saing Naung (a.k.a. Htun Kha) from Column 8, were killed in action.
- Two Type-81 rifles were lost.
The report states that three junta forces were killed, two were seriously wounded, and more enemy casualties may have occurred.

A woman from Husan Village in Mongngaw Township, located within TNLA Brigade 1 territory in northern Shan State, was killed after stepping on a landmine while going to a tea plantation, according to a statement by PSLF/TNLA.
On July 15 at 11:20 a.m., Daw Aye Aye Win, aged 28, stepped on a landmine near a tamarind tree while heading to work at a tea plantation. She died on the spot due to the explosion.
Her body was retrieved and properly buried with the assistance of village authorities and local residents, the report added.
This follows a similar incident on June 29, in which another woman was killed by a landmine explosion while clearing a cornfield near Old Namsan Camp in Namkham Township.

A funeral ceremony was held on July 19 for Comrade Sai Naung (also known as Htun Kha), a unit commander of Column 8, Unit 2 of the People’s Revolutionary Force (PRF), who heroically fell in battle during the assault to capture the Laksei Police Station in Seikphyu Township, Magway Region, on July 17.
The funeral took place at a temporary PRF headquarters and included:
- A moment of silence to honor the fallen,
- Rifle salutes by fellow comrades,
- Tributes from family members, PRF units, allied organizations, and local villagers, including the laying of wreaths and flowers.
Comrade Sai Naung was recognized for:
- Selfless dedication to his duties,
- Playing a leading role in strengthening unity within Column 8 throughout all his service,
- His unwavering commitment to fighting for oppressed communities until the moment of his death.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 7. Two Junta Forces Defect Separately in Kachin and Karenni States

According to official announcements, two junta personnel—one from Kachin State and one from Karenni (Kayah) State—defected to resistance forces.
On July 21, a police sergeant stationed at the Waingmaw Town Police Station (Kachin State) surrendered without weapons to the People’s Defense Force (PDF), Township 3 unit in Monywa, Sagaing Region.
The PDF Monywa unit reported that they were providing him with assistance based on his wishes, ensuring his safety.
Separately, on July 17, a soldier from Battalion 356, based in Loikaw Township, Kayah State, defected with weapons to KNDF B-14 (Karenni Nationalities Defense Force).
The defector, named Sao Chit (aka Chit San Maung), brought with him:
- One AK-47
- Two magazines
- 172 rounds of ammunition
- Five grenades
- One mobile phone
He is now being securely housed and has received a reward and assistance package.

Battalion (2) of the Yaw Guerrilla Force (YGF), under Strategic Division 33, held a graduation ceremony for its Basic and Special Operations Training Course, Series 2/2025, on July 17.
