๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 1. Prime Minister stresses the need for proper legal action against those intentionally involved in the junta’s election activities

September 12

The National Unity Government (NUG) held the Interim Local Public Administration Implementation Central Committee Meeting No. (31/2025) on the morning of September 11, 2025.

At the meeting, Union Prime Minister Mann Win Khaing Than, who also chairs the Interim Local Public Administration Implementation Central Committee, stated:

“As we reach 2025, our interim local administration sector has grown stronger compared to previous years. However, there remain three major challenges in governance.

First, in order to gain official recognition from the international community, our local administration must ensure transparency, accountability, responsibility, and adherence to human rights standards.

Second, we must effectively counter the terrorist junta’s political maneuvers by preventing preparations for their sham election, blocking public mobilization and propaganda efforts. Those who intentionally participate in such activities must be properly recorded and systematically prosecuted in accordance with existing laws and procedures.”

Furthermore, the Prime Minister added that, since the NUG is laying the foundations of a future federal democratic union, it is essential to confront and overcome the junta’s political schemes together with the people, and to continue working toward the practical realization of revolutionary victory.

September 12

The Salin People’s Defense Force (Salin-Pa Ka Pha) has sent prayers and goodwill wishes for the good health and immediate release of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, the unlawfully detained people’s leader.

This message was sent during a tree-watering and cleaning activity held for shade trees planted in commemoration of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s 80th birthday by Salin-Pa Ka Pha fighters and local civilians.

The group expressed that, just as the trees planted for her 80th birthday are flourishing, they wish for Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s health to remain ever-strong and beautiful like those trees, and for her to be swiftly freed from captivity.

At the same time, Salin-Pa Ka Pha called on the public to continue planting trees, preserving the environment, and protecting climate stability without cutting down trees, so as to safeguard the natural ecosystem from climate change and ensure favorable weather conditions.

The Salin People’s Defense Force is an organization that not only fights against terrorist junta soldiers who treat civilians as enemies, but also engages in community development works and provides public awareness on air defense during times without active combat.

September 12

The Democracy Movement Strike Committee of Dawei District (DDMSC) announced that it had provided rice and household necessities to civilians in Tharyar Chaung Township whose homes were destroyed by arson committed by the terrorist junta.

Together with local civilians, DDMSC carried out relief efforts to assist the affected families by providing rice and essential items.

๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 4. MDSI states that the terrorist military is deliberately targeting places where people gather

September 12

The terrorist military is carrying out airstrikes using heavy bombs against locations where people gather, according to the Myanmar Defense and Security Institute (MDSI).

This statement comes in connection with the rising number of civilian casualties during the month of August due to the junta’s airstrikes.

According to reports from media and relevant organizations, in August of this year alone, 250 civilians were killed and 344 others injured by the military’s air attacks.

These aerial bombings deliberately targeted residential areas where civilians live, religious buildings such as monasteries and churches, schools, markets, and IDP camps, with a particular emphasis on striking places where large crowds were present.

MDSI analyzed that the junta systematically and deliberately directs heavy aerial bombardments against crowded civilian locations.

During August, the terrorist military launched numerous aerial attacks in Mandalay Region, Magway Region, Sagaing Region, and Shan State. The highest civilian casualty numbers were recorded in Mandalay Region, Shan State, Magway Region, and Sagaing Region, according to MDSI’s report.

It was also revealed that these airstrikes were primarily carried out from Tada-U Air Base, Shante Air Training Headquarters, and Nay Pyi Taw Air Base.

Furthermore, on September 12, the terrorist military dropped two 500-pound bombs on Pyin Nyar Pan Khin Private High School in Thayetapin Village, Kyauktaw Township, Rakhine State, killing at least 18 students and injuring over 20, according to a statement from the Arakan Army (AA).
