๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 1. Military Commission’s Jet Fighter Bombs Hit Pakari Village, Damaging Homes Including One Monastery

According to a statement released by the KNU on September 18, the terrorist military, while being ambushed and counterattacked, bombed Pakari village using a jet fighter. The strike damaged several civilian homes, including one monastery.

The statement explained that on September 14, 2025, approximately 100 pro-military troops returning from the Kyaukme Taung camp toward Htawe town were intercepted near Pakari village by combined forces of the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) Division 4, Battalion 12, other allied revolutionary forces, and civilian defense groups. As a result, 10 pro-military troops were killed, around 15 were injured, and some weapons, including one MA1 rifle, were seized.

It was further noted that the military’s indiscriminate bombing of Pakari village caused damage to civilian houses and one monastery, despite there being no direct combat there.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 2. Four Pro-Military Trainees Surrender at Ngaphe Weapons Factory - KPS 14

September 18

The Minbu District Battalion No. 6 reported today that four pro-military trainees surrendered unarmed at the Ngaphe Weapons Factory (KPS 14) in Ngaphe Township, Magway Region.

The trainees, who had previously been taken for harsh military training by the terrorist army, returned to the factory on September 4.

The battalion emphasized that the four surrendering individuals are being treated with dignity and respect, and their families and the public are being informed accordingly.

The statement also invited other pro-military individuals seeking to surrender to contact Minbu District Battalion No. 6, assuring that support would be provided for family reunions and safe surrender.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 3. Revolutionary Forces Target Pro-Military Village Chief in Nattalin Township

According to the Tharrawaddy District Battalion No. 1, revolutionary forces targeted and eliminated the pro-military village chief Phoe Kyaw from Sharseebo village, Nattalin Township, Tharrawaddy Region.

The operation took place on the morning of September 17 at 9:00 a.m., carried out by revolutionary police forces from Tharrawaddy District Battalion No. 1, Sub-unit 7 Gold Brother. Phoe Kyaw’s residence was attacked; he had fled, and the forces pursued and neutralized him.

Phoe Kyaw, described as a henchman of the terrorist army, had been involved in recruiting villagers for military service and collecting forced contributions. During the operation, a motorcycle and a phone were seized from him.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 4. Karenni Interim Administration IEC Recruits Staff for Vacant Positions

September 18

The Karenni Interim Administration Council’s IEC Department for Humanitarian Support and Reconstruction announced vacancies for positions ranging from township heads to office assistants and night security staff, as of September 17.

The IEC department currently seeks:

  • 3 township heads
  • 4 senior clerks
  • 3 junior clerks
  • 1 office assistant
  • 1 night security officer

Applicants must be Karenni locals or residents of Karenni for at least 5 years.

For township head positions, applicants must be proficient in computer use, hold a university degree or diploma, and be aged 20–40. For senior and junior clerks, applicants must also have a university degree or diploma, be skilled in computer use, and be aged 20–35.

All applicants are required to commit to at least 2 years of service under the IEC. The application deadline is October 3.

The Karenni IEC was established on September 7, 2023, to provide timely responses to essential services such as protection of life and property, rule of law, and public services during the revolutionary interim period, in line with the council’s objectives.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 5. Damaged Bridges in Namkham Repaired by Ta’ang Township Urban Development Committee

According to the PSLF/TNLA News and Communications Department, the Ta’ang Township Urban Development Committee is repairing damaged bridges in Namkham town, Ta’ang District, Northern Shan State, within the jurisdiction of TNLA Division 6.

Work began on September 7 on a damaged bridge in Aung Mingalar Ward, and construction was completed by September 13. The completed bridge measures 32 feet in length and 4 feet in width.

Additionally, the committee is repairing three smaller road-crossing bridges within the town. The committee is also restoring damaged roads and conducting clean water canal maintenance to ensure smooth travel and daily life for local residents.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 6. Nationwide Deaths Following Detention by Terrorist Military: 48 People, Including 6 Victims of Live Burning Executions

According to the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP), 48 people nationwide died after being detained by the terrorist military, including 6 who were killed by live burning executions.

Based on information collected by AAPP from July 1 to September 17, 2025, the total deaths include 7 women and 41 men, all confirmed by name. Among these, 16 deaths occurred in Sagaing Region, the highest, followed by 13 in Mandalay Region.

On September 9, near Zarapta village between Yekyia Oo and Bukone villages in Kant Balu Township, Sagaing Region, combined forces of the terrorist military and Pyu Sautee groups captured seven local workers from Shwehmaw village, taking them to a monastery in Bukone village and subjecting them to torture.

Subsequently, on September 12, in the evening, the seven were forced to participate in live burning executions; their heads were struck with sticks, leaving them disoriented, and six were killed, including two minors. One survived and managed to escape.

๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 7. Revolutionary Forces Attack Zeekone Township Police Station in Kant Balu, Resulting in 6+ Deaths and 6 Arrests Including 2 Police Officers

According to the PKP of Kant Balu Township, revolutionary forces attacked and stormed the Zeekone Township police station in Kant Balu, Sagaing Region. The operation resulted in over six police officers and Pyu militia killed, and six individuals arrested, including two police officers.

The attack occurred around 3:00 p.m. on September 17, led by the PKP special task force of Kant Balu District. The operation is part of the first military strategy for Kant Balu Township, supervised by District Battalion No. 1.

The police station and associated Pyu militia had reportedly routinely harassed civilians, extorted money, tortured, threatened, and looted property. The operation was carried out to neutralize threats, confiscate weapons, and dismantle the station, with the Ye U Township PKP combat unit participating in coordination.
