🚩🚩 1. Mon Liberation Front (MLF) and New Mon State Party (Anti-Dictatorship) / Ramanya Mon Army (NMSP-AD/RMA) Merge

With the aim of promoting the development of the Mon State with full equality and the right to self-determination, and to effectively eradicate the military dictatorship, the Mon Liberation Front (MLF) and the New Mon State Party (Anti-Dictatorship)/Ramanya Mon Army (NMSP-AD/RMA) officially merged on September 18, 2025, according to an announcement.
It was stated that the MLF leadership committee members and troops who have now joined together will take part in the political and military activities of NMSP-AD/RMA.
The NMSP-AD/RMA declared that it will continue its efforts toward the emergence of a unified Mon Army.
Furthermore, NMSP-AD/RMA affirmed that, together with the Mon people, it will strive for the emergence of a prosperous Mon State with full self-determination and for the swift eradication of the military dictatorship, in collaboration with allied ethnic revolutionary organizations and People’s Defense Forces.

🚩🚩 2. Fierce Battle Between Junta Column and Revolutionary Forces in Khine-U; Weapons Seized from the Military

On September 18, a junta military column of around 70–80 troops from Shwebo Training School (8) and Shwebo–Bote Kone (Pyuchan) advanced toward Ma Kyi Tone (Pyu Village) in Khine-U Township. In response, Shwebo District Battalion (3), Khine-U Township People’s Defense Force (Township Pa Ka Pha), Sub-township Pa Ka Pha units, and Township Pa La Pha jointly launched a direct and intense attack in the southern combat zone (1) of Khine-U Township, according to Khine-U Township’s Public Information Department.
The report stated that the junta side suffered casualties and losses during the engagement. The military column was forced to retreat and scatter during the night toward Bote Kone (Pyuchan) and Training School (8).
Revolutionary forces sustained no casualties, successfully carried out the clearance operation, and seized weapons and equipment including one MA4 rifle, one MA5 pistol, RPG rounds, Energa grenades, 40mm shells, magazines and ammo, body armor, helmets, and various military supplies.

🚩🚩 3. Commander of Kha Ma Ya (591) Battalion in Ye Township Shot Dead While Shopping with Family and Police Escorts

On September 17 at around 9:30 a.m., the commander of Kha Ma Ya (591) Battalion, Thein Thaik, was traveling by car from Kyone Ywar village market with his family and accompanying police officers when his vehicle was ambushed by the Youth Revolutionary Force (YRF) together with the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) Battalion 27, Company (5) and Company (3), according to reports.
After the attack, military intelligence confirmed that Commander Thein Thaik, who was rushed to Ye Township Hospital by car, died on the way due to heavy blood loss.
Additionally, his wife sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen, while three accompanying police officers were also injured.

🚩🚩 4. Junta Airstrikes Kill Three People, Including a Monk, in Hpakant and Myin Gyan

At around 9:30 a.m. on September 19, the junta carried out a drone bombing attack on Thone Bo village, Mashikhtaung area, Hpakant Township, dropping three bombs, according to local reports.
The attack killed one man and one woman instantly, while another person was seriously injured. Two houses were also damaged.
Similarly, on September 18 at around 10:20 a.m., the junta launched an airstrike using three gyrocopters on Shwe Zedi Monastery in Kyauk Taing village, Myin Gyan Township, Mandalay Region, the Myin Gyan People’s Movement Committee reported.
That strike killed a 62-year-old monk, injured a woman farmer from Kone Thar village, and damaged school buildings.

🚩🚩 5. Junta Airstrike on Training Preparation Site in Shwegu Township Kills 17 People

At around midnight on September 18, the terrorist military carried out an airstrike on a site preparing to conduct military training inside Kachin Independence Army (KIA) controlled territory in Shwegu Township, Brigade 11, Battalion 12 area.
According to military sources, at least 17 people were killed and more than 40 others were injured in the attack.
KIA spokesperson Colonel Naw Bu confirmed to Kachin News Group (KNG) that the site had indeed been attacked, but stated that detailed casualty information was not yet available.
It was further learned that the site was not an actual training camp, but a location that was still in preparation for opening.
In addition to Shwegu Township, the junta also carried out simultaneous airstrikes in Hpakant Township, targeting areas under KIA Brigade 9 and near Battalion 11’s Nam Matee village. In that strike, one civilian near Nam Matee village was also reported killed.

🚩🚩 6. Three Junta Troops Defect with Weapons from Kha Ma Ya (409) and Pale Township Columns

On September 19, two junta soldiers—Private Aung Myo Paing and Private Hein Min Thu—serving in Kha Ma Ya (409) under the 13th Batch of Conscription, defected along with their weapons to the Democratic National Liberation Army (DNLA) because they no longer wished to serve under the terrorist military.
They surrendered two MA-1 rifles, three magazines, and 120 rounds of ammunition. Each was awarded a reward of 500,000 kyats and relocated to a safe area.
Similarly, on September 7, another conscripted junta soldier, Ko Naing Ye Lin, defected from a military column in Pale Township. He surrendered with one MA-1 rifle, four magazines, 500 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition, and one landmine, and joined Battalion 31 of Yama Pin District.
Battalion Commander U Ba Jan of Battalion 31 awarded him 500,000 kyats in recognition.

🚩🚩 7. People’s Defense Force (Mandalay) Holds Graduation Ceremony for Basic Military Training (Batch 17)

The People’s Defense Force (Mandalay) successfully held the graduation ceremony of its Basic Military Training (Batch 17) at a liberated area, according to an announcement by MDY-PDF.
During the training period, trainees underwent intensive instruction in basic military knowledge, strategy and tactics, military ethics and discipline, political awareness, and physical fitness.
The ceremony was attended by officials from the National Unity Government (NUG), Ministry of Defense, and the Central Military Command; political representatives of the Burma People’s Liberation Army (BPLA), an allied revolutionary force; as well as officials from local allied revolutionary groups such as Moke-Koke Strategic Command, TRI Strategy No. (93), and PDF Battalion 513. Township-level Pa Ka Pha and Pa La Pha representatives, revolutionary comrades from various regions, and local residents also participated and gave words of encouragement and honor to the graduating comrades.
The PDF (Mandalay) reaffirmed its commitment to the eradication of dictatorship and to carrying forward the historic duty of building a Federal Democratic Union.
