๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 1. Kim Aris says Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s health is in critical condition, raising fears for her life

September 5

Due to the deteriorating health condition of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, her son Kim Aris expressed grave concern today, September 5, through social media that her life may be at risk.

He said he was deeply distressed to learn of his mother’s worsening health and stated that her heart condition had reached a dangerous stage because of the circumstances of her detention. Although he had requested that she be allowed to see an external cardiology specialist, he did not know whether this request had been approved or not.

Kim Aris emphasized in a recorded video statement that this was an inhumane, excessively cruel, and utterly unacceptable act.

Ko Htein Lin, widely known as Kim Aris, also called for the immediate release of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and all other political prisoners. He added that this appeal was not only for his mother’s sake but also for the future of Myanmar.

The London-based Independent newspaper also reported as special news that Ko Htein Lin urged the military junta to provide urgent medical care for Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and appealed to the international community to intervene and assist.

In addition, Britain’s former Foreign Secretary William Hague also called for the release of the people’s leader Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, which was highlighted in an article published by the UK’s The Independent.

๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 3. “The time has come to unite and work together in harmony,” urges Union Minister U Htin Linn Aung

September 5

On September 5, U Htin Linn Aung, Union Minister for Communications, Information and Technology, urged that “the time has come to unite and work together in harmony.”

He stated:

“Those who talk about ‘PEACE’ continue to imprison an 80-year-old people’s leader without release, while pushing forward their Scam Election despite the people’s rejection, simply to cling to power. To call for unity is easy, but if in practice unity cannot be achieved, the future may only grow harsher and more difficult.

Therefore, it is time to set aside egos, to unite and to work together in harmony. Revolutionary forces must also strengthen beyond their existing capacity by mobilizing more diverse resources from multiple sides, sectors, and places. Now is the time to rally greater support.”

๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 4. Household registration survey across Min Ta Township to enable effective public service delivery

September 5

To ensure effective implementation of public services, Min Ta Township has launched a township-wide census and systematic household registration, according to the Township People’s Administration Team.

They explained that this effort not only enables public services to be delivered more efficiently but also facilitates closer coordination with civil society organizations.

Therefore, the Township People’s Administration Team appealed to residents of Min Ta Township to cooperate actively with the relevant administrators and responsible officials.

The household registration system is prescribed by the Interim Min Ta Township People’s Administration Team. In cases of changes—such as household transfers, deaths, or births—the information must be reported from ward, village, or block level up to the township level People’s Administration Team.

Furthermore, the township administration announced that this household registration format is valid only within Min Ta Township.
