๐ฉ๐ฉ 1. Battle on Pauk–Saikphyu Road leaves 10 junta soldiers dead and 2 People’s Defense Force members fallen

The Taungnyo Naga People’s Defense Force has reported that a battle on the Pauk–Saikphyu Road in Pauk Township, Pakokku District, Magway Region, left 10 junta soldiers dead and 2 People’s Defense Force members fallen.
According to Taungnyo Naga PDF’s statement issued today, September 7, the clash took place on August 28, south of Taepinkan Village on the Pauk–Saikphyu Road.
The battle reportedly erupted near a junta convoy of Infantry Battalion (IB) 101 under Light Infantry Battalion (LIB) 254, numbering around 80 troops, and allied revolutionary forces.
The engagement lasted about one and a half hours, during which 10 junta soldiers were killed and 15 injured, according to eyewitnesses cited by Taungnyo Naga PDF.
On the resistance side, 2 comrades from Pakokku District Battalion 4 and Battalion 14 were killed, and 1 comrade from Battalion 12 was injured.
The joint operation against the junta convoy was carried out by allied revolutionary forces, including Pakokku District People’s Defense Force Tactical Unit-3, Pakokku District Military Column-4, Battalion 5, Battalion 12, Battalion 14, Pauk Township PDF, and Myaing Township PDF.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. Junta airstrike damages houses in Kyaukme Town

According to local sources, some houses were damaged in Kyaukme Town, currently under the control of the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA), after an aerial bombing by the junta forces.
At around 6:00 p.m. on September 6, junta aircraft dropped bombs north of Quarter 7 in Kyaukme Town, damaging civilian houses but reportedly causing no casualties.
Heavy clashes have been ongoing between junta forces and revolutionary troops near Naungpain and Pintain Villages in Kyaukme Township. Amidst this, the junta has continued airstrikes on Kyaukme Town, forcing many civilians to flee.
On August 25, junta forces had also bombed Kyaukme Town. According to records, during August alone, the junta launched six separate airstrikes on villages in Kyaukme Township, causing civilian casualties and destroying homes, monasteries, and nunneries.
On September 4, junta forces dropped two 250-pound bombs on Pankwan Village in Kyaukme Township, damaging pagodas, according to TNLA reports.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. Over 120 landmines cleared by the Arakan Army in Maungdaw Township

Local sources report that the Arakan Army (AA) has cleared and removed more than 120 landmines left behind by the war in Maungdaw Township, Rakhine State.
Between September 5 and 6, a total of 128 landmines were successfully removed.
According to the Rakhine-language outlet Arakan Princess Media (APM), these mines had been planted by junta forces during previous battles in Maungdaw Township.
During the conflict period, junta troops deliberately planted landmines not only around their outposts but also along roads, forests, mountains, and farmland frequently used by civilians. In addition, unexploded ordnance was carelessly abandoned, resulting in civilian casualties.
The AA reported that its troops discovered mines while conducting clearance operations near the roadside by the Four-Mile Base and around Sithtaung Ywawinwa in Maungdaw Township.
Specifically, 85 landmines were cleared near Sithtaung Ywawinwa roadside on September 5, and another 43 landmines near the Four-Mile Base roadside on September 6.
The Arakan People’s Revolutionary Government has been conducting public awareness programs on mine risks across all townships of Rakhine, putting up warning signboards and distributing educational pamphlets, while the AA continues systematic mine clearance operations.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 4. Three clashes in Tharyar Chaung Township: at least 2 junta soldiers killed, 6 captured alive

According to the Dawei District Joint Forces, three separate clashes occurred in Tharyar Chaung Township, Dawei District, Tanintharyi Region, resulting in the deaths of at least 2 junta soldiers and the capture of 6 alive.
The announcement, issued today, September 7, concerns the military operations conducted by revolutionary forces that pursued junta columns in Tharyar Chaung Township between August 12 and 25.
On August 12, a junta column consisting of troops from LIB 403, 404, and 405, based in Tharyar Chaung Township, advanced into Kazi Village. Revolutionary forces intercepted them at Uttu Village, leading to a brief clash, and another engagement followed near Innpyar Village as the column passed through Kyawhlaykarr Hill.
The junta split its forces into three groups: two columns toward Uttu Village and one toward Sawphya Village, where they shelled weapons and advanced toward Moeshwe Kone Village. This led to a third clash.
According to Dawei District Joint Forces, the battle caused casualties among junta troops. As they fled, resistance forces seized 2 bodies, 2 MA-4 rifles, 1 MA-1 rifle, and captured 6 junta soldiers alive.
During this time, junta jets bombed Moeshwe Kone Village, dropping two bombs.
As resistance pursued retreating junta troops, reinforcements of about 120 soldiers arrived, looted and burned civilian houses in Moeshwe Kone Village, and executed 2 civilians.
While junta soldiers were burning civilian homes, the TS Wing launched drone strikes with bombs, inflicting further casualties on the junta.
Although junta troops suffered heavy losses, Dawei District Joint Forces reported that 2 of their comrades were killed and 4 injured during these clashes.
