๐ฉ๐ฉ 1. Mokoke Strategic Command and Mokoke Pa Ka Pha Call on Absentee Soldiers to Return and Defend Mokoke City
October 31
The Mokoke Strategic Command and Mokoke People’s Defense Force (Pa Ka Pha) have issued a call to soldiers who have been separated from their units, urging them to rejoin the fight and resume their revolutionary duties to defend Mokoke City.
According to the announcement, these soldiers had played a vital role in the Spring Revolution, contributing their blood, sweat, and sacrifices as an essential force in the people’s struggle. The call for their return was made in recognition of their past service and commitment.
Given the current military situation in Mokoke, where it has become necessary to launch counteroffensives against junta-controlled positions, the Mokoke forces have invited all former revolutionary soldiers within the township to rejoin and fight alongside their comrades.
At a time when Mokoke City is facing intense military pressure, the Mokoke Pa Ka Pha has urged everyone to stand together and coordinate attacks against the violent junta troops.
The Mokoke Strategic Command expressed understanding toward those who had been temporarily separated from the unit for various reasons, emphasizing that it values their experience, capability, and dedication to the revolution. It therefore encouraged them to rejoin the revolutionary frontlines and continue fighting.
The announcement further stated that those who wish to resume duty must make contact within seven days. Any soldiers who fail to reconnect after the deadline will be formally declared as deserters and will face penalties in accordance with the Military Desertion Law issued by the Ministry of Defense (MOD).

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. Army Sergeant from Kalay-Based Signal Battalion Defects to Monywa Pa Ka Pha Instead of Being Deployed to Rakhine Frontline
October 31
A sergeant from the 6th Signal Battalion (Sa Thar Ya 6), based in Kalay, defected to the Monywa People’s Defense Force (Pa Ka Pha) after being ordered to deploy to the Rakhine frontline, according to a statement released today (October 31) by the Monywa Township People’s Defense Committee.
The sergeant, who escaped on October 29, made contact with the Special Attack Unit No. 2 — “Taw Kywel Gyi Pyauk Kyar” Team under the Monywa Pa Ka Pha, and surrendered unarmed to the revolutionary forces.
It was reported that he defected directly from the Rakhine deployment route. The Monywa People’s Defense Committee confirmed that an investigation is underway to determine whether he was involved in any war crimes during his service under the junta.
The committee reiterated that defectors will not be mistreated, tortured, or abused in any way, and assured that if no involvement in war crimes is found, they will be accepted according to their intention to defect and reintegrated respectfully.
In previous days, two junta troops who had been stationed at the Kyaukkar Shweguni Pagoda compound, used as a temporary military outpost, also defected to the Monywa Pa Ka Pha’s Special Operations Unit No. 2, surrendering with one MA-3 rifle and one MA-11 rifle.
The Monywa People’s Defense Committee therefore urged all soldiers and conscripts who wish to ensure their own safety and regain the goodwill of the people to defect and surrender to revolutionary forces. It added that all defectors will be warmly welcomed and treated with care and respect upon surrender.
