🚩🚩 1. The Reconstructed SAC Infantry Battalion (598) Attacked with Heavy Artillery

According to the Pa Ka Pha (PDF) of Bago District, the reconstituted SAC Infantry Battalion (598) based in Shwekyin Township, Bago Region, was attacked with heavy artillery.
On October 2, the KNLA Battalion (7), together with Bago District Pa Ka Pha artillery units and Kawa artillery units, jointly launched heavy artillery fire at the battalion, according to the report.
During the attack, two junta soldiers were severely injured and transported to Sin Ywar hospital, sources said.
In addition, according to a junta soldier who defected unarmed from Infantry Battalion (598), the Revolutionary Forces’ artillery and sniper attacks inflicted heavy casualties. However, he stated that the dead were buried near the battalion compound, resulting in limited information being released about the exact number of deaths and injuries.

🚩🚩 2. Kyaukme PDF Announces They Will Return to the Town Handed Back to the Junta

The Kyaukme People’s Defense Force (Kyaukme PDF) issued an announcement apologizing for having to withdraw from Kyaukme Town, which was subsequently retaken by the junta, and stated that they will return at the right time.
“We are still around the outskirts of the town. One day, we will return — and when that day comes, we hope the people will welcome us even more warmly than they did before,” the statement read.
It was reported that even when SAC troops entered the town, some local defense comrades remained behind. Before the junta’s reoccupation, they had been conducting strict security checks at town entry and exit points, helping civilians affected by junta airstrikes, and arresting thieves, drug dealers, and junta informants.
The Kyaukme PDF expressed sadness upon seeing scenes of some residents welcoming the junta troops, whether due to personal circumstances or coercion under threat and pressure from the military regime.

🚩🚩 3. A Woman Robbed at Gunpoint Near Pin Wai Village in Inndaw Township

According to Indaw Revolution – IR, in Inndaw Township, Sagaing Region, a woman who had traveled from Nankham to Mawlu by motorbike to sell goods was robbed at gunpoint with a homemade firearm.
The incident occurred around 3:00 p.m. on October 2, near Pin Wai Village along the Mawlu–Naba road, when she had become separated from her companions.
The robber blocked her motorbike, brandished a homemade gun, and demanded her purse, forcibly robbing her. When the woman tried to escape by riding off on her motorbike, the assailant shot at her.
The victim, a woman around 40 years old from Mansi, Kachin State, was injured in her arm and is now receiving medical treatment.
It was reported that about 300,000 kyats were stolen, and a young man carrying a homemade firearm has been arrested as a suspect.

🚩🚩 4. Two Children Killed in Junta Airstrike in Namhsan Township

According to the PSLF/TNLA, in Zeltun Hoon Village, Namhsan Township, located in the Palaung Self-Administered Zone of northern Shan State (under TNLA Brigade 9’s control), two children were killed in a junta airstrike.
At 12:28 p.m. on October 4, a junta jet fighter dropped two 250-pound bombs on the village.
As a result, two children — Maung Zeyar Aung (age 10) and Maung Thun Myo Aung (age 13) — were killed instantly by the explosion.
Nine others were injured, including:
- Ma Myat Wun Chay (10)
- Ma Khin Yu May (12)
- Ma Thandar Soe (9)
- Ma Khin Hla Pyae Nhin (12)
- Ma Thwe Ree (13)
- Maung Khant Thu Yain Min (14)

In addition, 16 houses were damaged.
Similarly, on the same day, junta aircraft also bombed Man He Village and Oun Mu Village in Hsipaw Township.
Earlier, on October 2, the junta had bombed the Kumudra Hotel in San Phait Village, Hsipaw Township, using two 500-pound bombs, and also dropped one 500-pound bomb on Namtu Town, killing three civilians and injuring six others.

According to the Yezagyo Joint Forces, the donations received through the “Aung Pan Wae Say Shin Ma Taung Myay” Campaign were used to provide comrades with bulletproof helmets, bulletproof vests, tactical E-quipment, uniforms, belts, and combat boots.
They stated that, thanks to the generous contributions from Myanmar people at home and abroad, the Yezagyo Joint Forces comrades are now able to serve their frontline military duties with greater safety and confidence.
With the campaign funds, they were able to purchase and distribute:
- 35 bulletproof helmets
- 35 bulletproof vests
- 35 tactical E-quipment sets
- 14 uniform sets
- 35 belts
- 35 pairs of combat boots
The announcement also expressed special gratitude to the brothers and sisters inside the country and abroad who tirelessly worked day and night to make this campaign successful, as well as to those who organized, led, and contributed wholeheartedly with faith and unity.

According to a statement released on October 3, the Demoso People’s Defense Force (DMO Local PDF) celebrated the 4th Anniversary of its founding at the Central Headquarters.
Members of the Central Committee, along with battalion commanders, officers, comrades (male and female), and family members attended the ceremony.
During the military parade and celebration event, there were addresses by the Chief of Military Strategy, military drills by comrades, demonstrations with small arms, MA-1 rifle assembly and disassembly competitions, award presentations, and a fellowship meal for all attendees.

🚩🚩 7. NUG Donates to Repair a School Destroyed by Junta Airstrike in Kawlin Township; District Battalion 2 Pays Tribute to Families of Fallen Heroes During Thadingyut

In Kawlin Township, Sagaing Region, where a school was damaged by an airstrike conducted by the military junta, officials from the Ministry of Women, Youth and Children Affairs (MOWYCA), together with local administrative leaders from the Kawlin Township People’s Administration Body, visited the affected area.
They met with village teachers and provided a contribution of 20 million kyats (20 lakhs) to support the repair and maintenance of the damaged school, according to reports.
In addition, during the Thadingyut Festival, comrades from Kawlin District Battalion 2 paid respect and tribute to the families of the fallen revolutionary heroes by presenting small commemorative gifts.
They stated that the families of the fallen comrades continue to be deeply honored and respected by the battalion members.
