Acting President Duwa Lashi La said at the cabinet meeting (14/2023) of the National Unity Government held on April 11 that the people’s defense forces and the people cannot be divided so easily.
“The people were already well aware of the atrocities and bitterness inflicted by the military in the course of their lives, and they have suffered from their heinous acts. Therefore, the people’s defense forces that will eradicate the military council were created by the people themselves because of their needs. Trying to divide the people with such people’s defense forces is what the acts of the military council underestimating them. Therefore, I would like to warn you from here that people cannot be divided easily, and so don’t underestimate the people,” he said.
On February 1, 2021, after the terrorist military seized state power, and the Spring Revolution emerged with the public movement against the military dictatorship.

In the 2 operations, about 15 junta troops were killed, and the dead bodies were brought back in 3 funeral cars from Takaung city.
According to reports, five other injured junta troops damaged and lost their limbs. The attack was said to be retaliation for the Kanbalu massacre.

CDF-Hakha Council has announced that the Hakha Township USDP party office and all of its property will be nationalized. On April 12, the CDF-Hakha Council notified Order No. (3/2023).
“Because the Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) registered with the coup military council and will participate in the junta-held election, all of the party’s offices, all properties and all assets in Hakha Township will be seized today,” it stated.
It also stated that the CDF-Hakha Council will take necessary action on behalf of the people during the revolution.
