📌📌 1. The Acting President said that it is also important to maintain the rule of law in the country and among the public

Acting President Duwa Lashi La said this at the International Democracy Day ceremony led by the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH).

“Just as public freedom and equality are important in a democracy, it is also important to maintain the rule of law in the country and among the people. One of the basic values of democracy is the rule of law. We are currently going through a period of revolution. The people are crossing the mountain of swords in the rain and water and crossing the sea of fire. Our people are facing threats to their lives every day. Once the hope of democratic transformation is destroyed, the people will not be protected by legal laws. Understanding that, we need to build a social structure governed by laws,” the Acting President said.

Currently, the total number of democratic activists and people who died during the spring revolution due to the terrorist military and its lackeys has reached (4,078).
