๐ฉ๐ฉ 7. Official Announcement from Myin Township PDF: Crackdown on Gambling Rings
December 10, Radio NUG
The People's Defense Force (PDF) in Myin Township has issued a warning against involvement in gambling activities and announced plans to conduct arrests and investigations, according to an official statement released on December 10.
Despite repeated prohibitions on gambling activities in the township, reports from local residents indicate that these activities persist. The statement highlighted that there is credible evidence linking some gambling operations to members of revolutionary groups.
The PDF expressed concern that gambling poses multiple threats during the revolutionary period. These include undermining revolutionary efforts, economic deterioration, potential conflicts, loss of public trust and credibility, and an increase in crimes such as theft, robbery, and violence within the township.
To address these issues, the PDF has called on leaders to continuously communicate with their members to ensure they abstain from gambling. Additionally, the organization emphasized the need for thorough investigations and arrests related to gambling activities.
If gambling operations are discovered and dismantled, the organizers will face stringent punitive measures. The confiscated funds and materials from these gambling operations will be redirected to essential local needs within the township.
Moreover, the PDF reiterated its commitment to taking action against individuals involved in the sale or use of narcotics and mind-altering substances within the township or neighboring areas. Upon receiving reports, the PDF will arrest and prosecute such individuals in front of the public.
