Participants included representatives from the Public Affairs Committee, the Security and Defense Committee, and the Education Committee.
The committees deliberated on how to enable revolution fighters who lost their limbs and displaced youths to continue their education, pursue international scholarships, and acquire livelihood skills. They discussed potential collaboration with the National Unity Government (NUG) and relevant ministries to implement these plans effectively.
Additionally, the committees emphasized the importance of providing technical, literary, agricultural, and handicraft training as part of vocational education. They proposed collecting comprehensive data on those who lost limbs and suggested connecting with the Ministry of Defense to ensure prosthetics, such as artificial legs, arms, and eyes, are supplied effectively.

๐๐ 4. All Myanmar-China Border Gates in Kachin Region Reopened
December 13
It has been reported by local news agencies that all Myanmar-China border gates in the Kachin region have been reopened as of the morning of December 13. This action was initiated by both the Kachin Independence Organization/Army (KIO/KIA) and the Chinese authorities.
The reopening is said to be the result of discussions between KIO leaders and Chinese government representatives. All border gates under KIO's control within their territory have been reopened following these negotiations, which centered on trade agreements. The KIO-controlled Liaza News source reported that the reopening of the gates aligns with agreements reached during political discussions held in Kunming, China.
KIO/KIA Chairman General N’Ban La led the delegation that met with representatives of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on December 12 in Kunming. While the specifics of the agreement regarding border passage permissions remain unclear, the reopening marks a significant development in Myanmar-China relations in the region.
Though the Chinese government had already reopened the Lweje border gate on December 12, KIA personnel only began removing blockades at the gates on the morning of December 13. Videos documenting the removal of barriers have since been shared publicly.
