๐๐ 1. Myanmar Economic Bank's Funds Moved to Battalion 562 in Gwa Town
December 14
According to local reports and sources, funds from the Myanmar Economic Bank in Gwa town, Rakhine State, have been transferred by the military junta to Battalion 562, based in the town.
It was reported that soldiers from the military junta transported cash and documents from the Myanmar Economic Bank in Gwa to Battalion 562 on the morning of December 13.
Currently, the military junta has imposed a nighttime curfew in Gwa, prohibiting residents from going out at night. During the curfew hours, military forces are patrolling the town along with People's Defense Forces (PDF), according to local residents and a report by the regional news outlet Lay Waddy FM.
On December 13, the Arakan Army (AA) attacked the junta's military battalions using drones and small arms, with gunfire audible in the town. Another Rakhine-based news outlet, Narinjara, also reported that the AA launched an assault on Battalion 563, based in Gwa, at around 5:00 PM on December 13.
As Gwa town only hosts Battalions 562 and 563, local residents speculate that the AA is in a favorable position to take control of the town. Observers suggest that the junta’s transfer of funds and documents from the Myanmar Economic Bank may be a preemptive measure in response to this situation.

๐๐ 2. Attack on Counter-Insurgency Battalion Gate Near Kyauk Kone Station in Insein
December 14
The God's Hand Forces (GHF), a resistance group in Yangon, claimed responsibility for attacking a security gate of the military junta's counter-insurgency battalion near Kyauk Kone Station in Insein Township, Yangon.
The gate, belonging to Battalion 16 (commonly known for its role in counter-insurgency operations), was bombed at 8:45 PM on December 13.
GHF stated that the attack targeted the junta’s security post as part of their commitment to dismantling the military’s structures and that the revolutionaries returned safely after the operation.
Battalion 16 is one of the junta’s key counter-insurgency units stationed in major cities like Yangon, Mandalay, Naypyidaw, and Taunggyi. Its personnel are responsible for protecting Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, according to GHF's spokesperson.
Due to heightened security and inspections enforced by the junta in Yangon, the extent of casualties remains unclear.
The operation was part of the M-043 military campaign and marked the ninth attack by GHF. The group stated that the mission aimed to remind Yangon residents that resistance forces are still active in the city.
GHF also urged the public to avoid junta-affiliated locations, including military offices, outposts, and patrol areas, for their safety.

๐๐ 3. CNDF Declares No Entry or Exit Allowed in Falam Town Except for Combatants
December 14
The Chin National Defense Force (CNDF) announced on December 13 that no one, except those involved in combat operations, is allowed to enter or leave Falam town, where military offensives are underway.
The restriction was imposed due to the ongoing security and military situation as Chin resistance groups continue their offensive against junta outposts in the town.
However, the CNDF noted that emergency cases can be discussed with relevant military authorities.
The joint Chin resistance forces have been conducting Operation CB since November 9, targeting junta outposts in Falam and Mindat towns. Heavy fighting continues as both sides face intense battles.
While the resistance has achieved some successes, junta forces have used airstrikes and missile attacks to defend their positions. The General Secretary of the Chin National Organization/Defense Force (CNO/CNDF), Salai William Chin, has called for additional supplies of weapons and ammunition to achieve complete victory.
Salai Peter Tan, another Chin National Organization leader, stated, “Reclaiming our town is a historical duty for us. Even if it costs us our lives, we will remain heroes for our town. On the other hand, you will go down in history as destroyers of others’ towns,” addressing the junta forces stationed in Falam.
He further warned the junta forces to leave the town and promised safe passage if they retreat, adding that they can contact him directly through social media if they decide to abandon Falam.
