As part of Mission 26 by the Brave Warriors of Myanmar (BWM), an official report was released on December 11 regarding the collateral damage inflicted on the junta’s side during the attacks on the Taungoo Air Base and the Southern Region Command.
During the attacks, the officers’ quarters at the Taungoo Air Base were hit, resulting in the immediate death of two soldiers. Reports state that their bodies were buried on the same day.
Additionally, nine soldiers from the junta’s side sustained injuries, of which two were reportedly in critical condition.
A barrack and a vehicle were also damaged in the attack, though no further information on the destruction of weaponry or equipment has been reported.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. Attack on the Military Checkpoint at Milepost 319 on the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway

On December 12, at approximately 3:00 PM, Natogyi People's Defense Force (Natogyi PDF) Unit 4-10 and the MDDS launched an attack on a junta checkpoint at Milepost 319 of the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway in Nyaung-U Township. The operation involved five strikes using Shar Htoo Waw fixed-wing technology and two bomb drops via drones, followed by ground assaults.
The battle lasted about an hour, with the resistance forces managing to advance near the enemy bunker. However, due to reinforcements arriving on the junta’s side, the resistance forces had to withdraw without securing a decisive victory.
Four revolutionaries from the resistance side sustained minor injuries. On the junta’s side, reports indicate that two military ambulances transported casualties to Meiktila.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. Poisoning of Stray Dogs for Security Ahead of Min Aung Hlaing’s Visit to the Pyin Oo Lwin 100-Year Botanical Garden Celebration

In preparation for Min Aung Hlaing’s visit to the 100-year anniversary celebration of the Pyin Oo Lwin Botanical Garden, local municipal authorities and the military have been poisoning stray dogs under a planned security operation, according to a municipal officer.
Since early December, military units stationed in and around Pyin Oo Lwin have been clearing areas of stray dogs that might disrupt security operations. Orders were issued by military authorities to eliminate stray and roaming dogs using poison.
On the evening of December 12, personnel from the municipal office, police, and military poisoned stray dogs, leaving dead dogs scattered across streets, causing distress not only to locals but also to animal advocates.
On December 12, Min Aung Hlaing attended a graduation ceremony at the Military Technological University and departed for Naypyidaw later that evening. However, roads in Pyin Oo Lwin were reportedly blocked as part of the security measures.
The celebration event at the Pyin Oo Lwin Botanical Garden is scheduled for December 14. Sources indicate that the date might change depending on the security situation.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 4. Houses Burned in Omi Village, Salin Gyi Township; Villagers Displaced in Wan Bao Region

On the morning of December 13, clashes broke out between junta troops and local resistance forces near the Wan Bao region. Reports from the Chin River Basin Villages Strike Force indicate that the junta suffered casualties, prompting retaliation from their troops.
As a result, six villages in the Myanmar Wan Bao region, located west of the Chin River, have been forced to evacuate due to ongoing violence.
In the afternoon, junta forces reportedly set fire to several homes in Omi Village, escalating the humanitarian crisis in the area.
