๐ฉ๐ฉ 1. Joint Participation in Urban Offensive Battles
December 16
In urban offensive battles, the People's Defense Forces (PDF) and the People’s Defense Teams (PaKaPha) are actively collaborating with ethnic revolutionary organizations (EROs), according to U Nay Phone Latt, spokesperson for the Prime Minister’s Office.
During the opening ceremony of the "Road to Rangoon" campaign, where the Yangon PDF and Yangon PaKaPha are set to jointly strategize, U Nay Phone Latt stated:
“Currently, our revolutionary forces are holding and controlling certain territories. Urban offensive battles are already underway, and there have been successful campaigns. Notably, captured territories include areas such as Pinlebu, Shwe Pyi Aye, Kanbalu, Tagaung, and Singu. In these urban battles, the EROs, PDFs, and PaKaPha Defense Teams have joined forces and fought courageously and decisively.
The PaKaPha groups are not only defending their towns and villages but are also actively participating in territorial seizures with significant determination, which deserves recognition.”
Reports indicate that most of the junta's military units no longer conduct offensives in rural towns or venture boldly into external operations without internal reinforcements.
