The Interim President, Duwa Lashi La, announced that the Spring Revolution has progressed into a new phase.

He made this statement during the first-anniversary celebration of the formation of the Chin Brotherhood Organization.

“Our current Spring Revolution is now in the process of transitioning into a new phase. To ensure the success of our Spring Revolution and to free Chin State from the control of the military dictatorship, it is crucial to build unity among the Chin people themselves, between the Chin people and their neighboring ethnic groups, as well as among all ethnic nationalities of the Union. Together, we must strive to establish a Federal Democratic Union,” stated the Interim President.

He further emphasized that the oppressive military has lost control of most towns in Chin State and has also been unable to maintain territorial dominance in Rakhine State, Sagaing Region, Magway Region, and Karenni State.

Reflecting on the revolutionary developments of 2024, the minister highlighted that the movement has been marked by collaboration among revolutionary forces, both domestically and abroad, with significant sacrifices and support from the public.

“This review focuses on the overall successes and challenges of the revolution and differs from the NUG government’s 2024 assessment, which is broader in scope, addressing both strengths and weaknesses,” Daw Zin Mar Aung added.

Environmental awareness programs were conducted in four schools in Yinmabin Township, according to an announcement by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation on December 31.

The events were jointly organized by the Yinmabin Township Public Administration Team, the Yinmabin Township Natural Resource Management Team, and the Sagaing District Natural Resource Management Team.

Over 200 students attended the programs, which aimed to raise awareness about environmental conservation. During the sessions, school supplies such as notebooks and pens were distributed to the students.

The message also reiterated the international community’s continued refusal to recognize the military junta’s legitimacy, with many governments downgrading diplomatic relations with the regime.

๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 5. Mandalay Region Emergency Management Committee Provided Over 300 Million Kyats of Humanitarian Aid in 2024

The Mandalay Region Emergency Management Committee (EMC) provided over 300 million kyats in humanitarian aid throughout 2024, according to activist Ma Aye Myint Aung.

“Although we managed to provide over 300 million kyats in aid this year, it was still insufficient to fully meet the needs of tens of thousands of internally displaced people affected by the ongoing conflict. We hope for increased domestic and international support for the Mandalay Region in 2025,” she said.

Currently, airstrikes by the oppressive military have led to civilian casualties in areas such as Myinmu and Pyin Oo Lwin townships.
