Radio NUG

The Ta'ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) has announced that due to the military junta facing consecutive historical defeats across various fronts, this is a crucial time for all revolutionary forces to unite and maximize their efforts to achieve the ultimate victory of the revolution. This statement was released following the annual conference of the PSLF (Pa Laung State Liberation Front).

Amidst pressures of all kinds, revolutionary forces across the nation continue to resist and launch offensive campaigns against the common enemy. As a result, the Myanmar military junta is experiencing historical setbacks. The TNLA has called on all ethnic armed organizations and Spring Revolution forces to collectively strengthen their momentum to secure a decisive revolutionary victory.

The annual PSLF conference, held from January 3 to January 7, 2025, at the PSLF's temporary headquarters in Ta’ang State, was attended by 173 representatives, including Central Committee members, reserve Central Committee members, department heads, military commanders, district administrators, and invited officers.

During the five-day conference, discussions centered around the ongoing revolutionary struggle against the oppressive military dictatorship, a review of the organization's year-long activities, and plans for improvement and preparation. It was also decided to expand the Ta’ang National Liberation Army into nine divisions and restructure Ta'ang State's administration into five districts encompassing 18 towns to ensure smoother governance.

The PSLF emphasized its commitment to managing the territories under its control, which include 12 towns secured during Operation 1027, as well as ensuring safety, enforcing the rule of law, and advancing education, healthcare, and socio-economic development in those areas. The announcement also stated plans to establish a public government, enabling local communities to participate in governance as soon as possible.

Acknowledging the sacrifices made by revolutionaries, civilians, and Ta’ang soldiers who lost their lives, homes, and livelihoods during the intense revolutionary period, the PSLF reaffirmed its dedication to rebuilding and revitalizing the lives of all stakeholders. It committed to working hand-in-hand with Ta’ang citizens and all ethnic communities to establish a secure and peaceful society.
