At approximately 9:45 PM on January 22, RTC fighters engaged a group of about 15 SAC troops who had infiltrated and stationed themselves in Nho Pin Village, located west of the Sittoung River in Yeta Shay Township. The Royal Lightning Strike Battalion reported that a direct clash ensued, lasting about 30 minutes.
Following the attack by the RTC forces, additional SAC troops from Kyun Taw Kone Village, numbering around 20, were dispatched as reinforcements to Nho Pin Village. However, the RTC fighters successfully ambushed and engaged them in a follow-up clash that lasted approximately 10 minutes.
The confrontation was led by Commander Thaman Kyarr and his RTC team. Reports indicate that six SAC soldiers sustained injuries during the engagement. Remarkably, six female PDF fighters participated alongside their male counterparts in this battle.
After the clash, it was reported that additional SAC troops were advancing from Katoh Kone Village toward Mangyi Kone Village. Residents have been warned to exercise caution and remain vigilant in their movements.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 2. Attack on a Convoy of Acid Tanker Trucks and Jumper Vehicles Traveling from Sagaing to Monywa

On January 22, the Brave Heart Army (BHA) announced that it attacked a convoy traveling from Sagaing to Monywa, consisting of acid tanker trucks, eight Jumper vehicles, and three Hman Lone Express buses believed to be carrying SAC officials.
The attack resulted in significant damage to multiple acid tanker trucks and Hman Lone Express buses, with three individuals sustaining injuries. Despite retaliatory fire from Jumper vehicles escorting the convoy, the attacking forces were able to withdraw without any casualties.
The operation was led by the Brave Heart Army (BHA) in collaboration with the Chindwin Fighter Group (CFG), demonstrating coordinated efforts between the two groups.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 3. Attack on Wazi Factory and SAC Bases in Seik Phyu Township

On January 19, at 6:15 AM, forces from the Magway PDF and allied units launched an assault on the Wazi Banknote Factory in Seik Phyu Township, a key facility for producing currency for the military regime, and nearby SAC bases.
The Magway PDF reported that the attack was carried out using 17 short-range missiles (SRMs), 26 drop bombs, and six 81mm mortar shells. Of the 17 SRMs fired, 13 successfully hit the Wazi Factory, causing significant explosions within the compound. Despite retaliatory fire with 60mm mortars from the enemy, the allied forces were able to withdraw without any casualties.
The attack also targeted SAC bases in Chaung Ma Gyi Village, Zee Pin Gate, Taw Khaung Gate, Chyite Kyi Village, and Min Zekaw Village, causing damage to SAC troops, Pyu Saw Htee militia, and their structures. Preliminary reports confirm casualties and destruction on the SAC side, although exact numbers are yet to be verified.
The operation was a joint effort led by the Magway PDF’s drone artillery unit “Thunderbird Black,” in collaboration with the Northern Seik Phyu People’s Defense Force (N.S.P.), Battalion 3 of Brigade 4, and Battalion 1 of Brigade 8 from the Pakokku District.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 4. Shelling and Airstrikes by the Military Junta Forces in Kyaikdon Town, Noh Ta Kaw Township, and Kyainseikgyi Township Result in Civilian Death and Property Damage

On January 22, around 7:30 AM, the KNU Central Office reported that the military junta's Naypyidaw Air Force launched an airstrike on Kyaikdon Town using Yak-130 jet fighters.
The airstrike caused explosions near a rubber plantation close to the fire station in Kyaikdon Town. Tragically, Daw Dway Ma (also known as Daw Nyo Nyo Win), the 51-year-old daughter of U Soe Kyi from Chaung Wa, Ward 3, was struck and killed while returning from rubber tapping. Additionally, the fire station and some abandoned civilian homes in the area sustained damage.
Separately, in Kyainseikgyi Township, around 10:44 PM on the same day, junta forces from Artillery Battalion SAC (12) fired three 170mm artillery shells from their base near Myauk Kone, targeting Taung Kyaw Inn Village. This incident damaged the home of Daw Hla Myint in the village, despite no active combat in the area, according to official reports.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 5. Senior Woman Killed in Thar Si Village by Junta Bombing with Parachute Drones

At approximately 1:45 AM on January 23, the military junta attacked Thar Si Village, Taungtha Township, by dropping explosives using parachute drones. A bomb directly hit the home of U Sein Win, setting it ablaze. Tragically, Daw Zin, a 70-year-old neighbor, lost her life in the incident, according to a report from the Taungtha Public Movement Committee.
U Sein Win, whose house was destroyed by the fire, is the father of a naval officer serving under the junta.
Furthermore, on January 21, at around 5:36 PM, an earlier attack by a junta jet fighter wounded a 55-year-old woman (injuries not critical) in Thar Si Village and caused damage to several civilian homes.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 6. Travel Ban on Myeik-Tanintharyi Union Highway Due to Potential Clashes

The Regional Military Command (Tanintharyi) announced a travel ban along the Myeik-Tanintharyi Union Highway to prevent harm to civilians, as clashes could erupt at any moment.
The military junta has been using civilian vehicles traveling along the highway to support their operations, using them as shields to gain military advantage. The security situation in Myeik and Tanintharyi Townships has grown increasingly tense, with frequent confrontations between junta forces and People’s Defense Forces (PDFs).
Reports indicate that junta forces continue to detain civilians arbitrarily, force them into porter services, and use them as human shields during military operations. There have also been cases of arson targeting civilian homes in these areas.
On the Tanintharyi-Mawtaung border area, heavy clashes have been reported between the military junta and coalition resistance forces near Thae Khun Village.

๐ฉ๐ฉ 7. Two Newly Recruited Soldiers Defect with Weapons and Ammunition in Loikaw Township

On January 23, two newly recruited soldiers from Light Infantry Battalion 427, based in Loi Lin Lay Village, Loikaw Township, defected with weapons and ammunition, according to a KNDF soldier.
While attempting to escape, the defectors were injured by a landmine planted near the camp. They received medical treatment and are now being safely sheltered in a secure location.
The defectors brought with them two MA3 rifles, six magazines, and 400 rounds of ammunition.
