๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 1. Spring Revolution European Forum to Be Held with NUG Ministers and Revolutionary Force Representatives

The Spring Revolution European Forum, featuring National Unity Government (NUG) Defense Minister, Minister of Home Affairs, and key representatives from revolutionary forces, is scheduled to take place on February 2, according to event organizers.

Participants in the forum will include NUG Defense Minister U Yee Mon, Home Affairs Minister U Lwin Ko Latt, Commander Maung Saung Kha from the Burma People’s Liberation Army (BPLA), and Chairman Khun Bee Htoo of the Karenni National Defense Force (KNDF). The forum will be held on February 2 at 1 PM Central European Time (CET).

This forum will be conducted as an online gathering via Zoom, connecting members of the Spring Revolution support networks based in Europe. It aims to foster closer relationships among European-based supporters of the revolution while addressing issues related to the Spring Revolution over the four-year period extending into 2025.

The forum will also include motivational activities such as poetry readings, musical performances, and shared reflections on successes, losses, and the current state of the revolution. These activities aim to inspire participants and strengthen unity as they continue their revolutionary journey. Event organizers have invited all members of the European-based Spring Revolution support network to participate in this initiative.

๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 2. Gambling Confiscation Funds from Htaung Ni Village to Support Revolution

Funds confiscated from a gambling ring in Htaung Ni village, Laung Lone Township, Tanintharyi Region, will be used to support revolutionary efforts, according to an announcement by the People’s Defense Force (PDF) of Laung Lone Township.

On January 20, at around 3 PM, the township PDF raided a gambling ring being operated under the guise of a traditional festival in Htaung Ni village. During the raid, they seized gambling-related items, money, and arrested individuals involved in the activity. The offenders were fined and made to sign pledges not to engage in or facilitate gambling activities in the future, after which they were released.

Despite repeated warnings against gambling activities, violations persist. The PDF has issued a statement declaring that more severe actions will be taken if such activities continue.

Approximately 24 million kyats (24,285,750 kyats) were confiscated during the operation, and all the funds will be allocated to revolutionary initiatives, the PDF stated.

๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ 3. Proceeds of Approximately 70 Million Kyats from RHYTHM Concert to Support Public Welfare Efforts

Proceeds of approximately 70 million kyats from the RHYTHM concert, organized by four revolutionary artists, will be used to fund public welfare projects, the artists announced.

The online RHYTHM concert, held on December 29, featured revolutionary artists Daw, Linn Linn, Chit Thu Wai, and Daniel Saw. The event raised nearly 70 million kyats, equivalent to around $16,520 USD.

"Re-recording and performing our original songs was challenging. But through the RHYTHM concert, we were able to raise nearly 70 million kyats with our art. We’ve decided to donate 100% of the proceeds to support our comrades on the ground," said beloved artist Chit Thu Wai in a social media post.

Ticket purchasers were able to watch the concert online within the designated period and number of views specified. Additionally, arrangements were made to broadcast the concert in revolutionary zones to ensure accessibility for locals.

The artists performed over 20 songs during the concert, creating an event that left audiences deeply satisfied and inspired.
