The Black Dragon PDF reported that an informant and Pyu Saw Htee militia member captured in Shwe Pantaw Village, Gyobingauk Township, Thayarwaddy District, Bago Region, attempted to escape, prompting a shootout.

On the morning of March 8, at around 8:00 AM, members of the Black Dragon (GBK-PDF) Unit under Battalion 3802 of Thayarwaddy District intercepted and arrested Myint Lwin, a Pyu Saw Htee member from Shwe Pantaw Village, while he was riding a motorcycle along the road between Ale Gone Village and Kyazwa Pagoda.
