Since its formation on March 15, 2021, until today, March 15, 2025, a total of 31 brave fighters from the Hpruso Eastern Lake People’s Defense Force (PDF) have sacrificed their lives in the Spring Revolution battles.

The Hpruso Eastern Lake PDF (Battalion 1006 under the Ministry of Defense, National Unity Government) was established on March 15, 2021, by revolutionary civilians in Hpruso Township.

Their first operation was on March 15, 2021, when they eliminated a joint command group consisting of a military captain and a police chief from the Hpruso-based SAC Battalion (7). Since then, they have continued fighting alongside allied revolutionary groups.

On the fourth anniversary of its establishment, the Hpruso Eastern Lake PDF (now officially known as Hpruso - 1006 Battalion) reaffirmed its commitment to fighting alongside allied forces until the revolution is won. In their anniversary statement, they declared that they will continue making history in the struggle for liberation.

The statement also paid tribute to the 31 fallen members of the Hpruso PDF, along with all revolutionary heroes who have died in the fight for genuine democracy over the past four years. They emphasized that March 15 would be recorded as a day of remembrance and honor for their sacrifices.
