๐๐ 1. Acting President Duwa Lashi La Issues Certificates of Appreciation for ONE DAY CHALLENGE Members’ Contributions

Acting President Duwa Lashi La has issued certificates of appreciation to acknowledge the financial contributions made by ONE DAY CHALLENGE members.
The Korea-based Committee Against Military Dictatorship has been transferring an equivalent of $100,000 in South Korean won per month to the National Unity Government (NUG) as part of the ONE DAY CHALLENGE fundraising initiative since August 2021. By February 24, 2025, a total of $3 million had been transferred, as reported on March 3.
Acting President Duwa Lashi La has been consistently acknowledging the monthly $100,000 donations with certificates of appreciation. The 30th certificate was issued on February 24, 2025.
The National Unity Government (NUG) recognizes the monthly contributions of ONE DAY CHALLENGE members by categorizing them as tax payments. Every six months, tax receipts are issued, and annually, the Acting President presents a certificate of appreciation to honor the contributors.

Union Minister Daw Khine Ma Ma Myo and representatives from NUG UK attended the Chin National Day celebration held at Feltham Community Hall in London.
Organized by Chin Community UK, the event took place on March 1 at Feltham Community Hall, bringing together ethnic communities in the UK. Among the attendees were NUG Union Minister Daw Khine Ma Ma Myo, NUG UK representative U Maung Maung Aung, and Dr. Thet Ko Ko.
At the event, traditional ethnic foods and clothing were sold as part of fundraising efforts for the revolution.

๐๐ 3. FGWM Reports on Labor Rights Violations in Yangon Region During February

The Federation of General Workers Myanmar (FGWM) has released a report on labor rights violations in Yangon Region during February.
On February 8, at the SAN YU garment factory, owned by Chinese nationals and located in the Shwe Lin Ban Industrial Zone, factory managers and supervisors reportedly subjected workers to verbal abuse, including offensive remarks directed at female workers. They also imposed excessive production targets and threatened workers who failed to meet them.
Similarly, on February 11, at the Yoyika garment factory, another Chinese-owned facility in the Shwe Lin Ban Industrial Zone, workers were allegedly forced to work overtime against their will. Those who refused were threatened with dismissal.
Additionally, on February 15, at the IL TERU Myanmar Co., Ltd. backpack factory in Hlaing Tharyar Industrial Zone (3), pregnant female workers were reportedly denied maternity leave, and the company failed to submit necessary documentation for their social security benefits.

๐๐ 4. NUG Japan Office and Myanmar Community in Japan Call for Sponsors for the "Nway Oo Thingyan 2025" Festival

The National Unity Government (NUG) Japan Office and the Myanmar community in Japan have called for sponsors and donors to support the "Nway Oo Thingyan 2025" festival.
The event aims to celebrate Myanmar's traditional cultural heritage with a grand Thingyan (Water Festival) celebration. Individuals and organizations interested in providing sponsorship or voluntary financial contributions are invited to participate.
The NUG Japan Office, in collaboration with the Myanmar community and pro-democracy groups in Japan, will organize "Nway Oo Thingyan 2025" as a fundraising event for people across Myanmar. The festival will take place on April 12 (Saturday) and April 13 (Sunday), 2025, at Sunny Plaza, Shiokaze Park, near Daiba Station in Tokyo.
To ensure the successful organization of this fundraising event, the organizers have extended an invitation to sponsors, donors, and supporters who wish to contribute.

The 39th Nway Oo Tea Gathering in the San Francisco Bay Area has raised over $13,000, according to an announcement by the organizing team on March 3.
A spokesperson from the Nway Oo Tea Gathering stated, "The future of Myanmar must be decided by Myanmar people. No foreign nation will intervene. The Nway Oo Tea Gathering family remains steadfast in moving forward."
The Nway Oo Tea Gathering community in the San Francisco Bay Area organizes monthly food sales to raise funds for the Nway Oo Revolution and other essential support initiatives in Myanmar.
