๐ฉ๐ฉ 1. Nationwide Liberation is Imperative, and All Forces Must Unite to Overthrow the Military Regime – KNDF Deputy Commander and KNLA Battalion (2) Commanders Urge
March 2
Radio NUG
Due to the urgent necessity for nationwide liberation, all revolutionary forces across the country must unite and take further action to advance the fight, said KNDF Deputy Commander Mawii.
Mawii made these remarks at a "Military Campaign Dialogue" held on March 1, where he, along with KNLA Battalion (2) Commander Soe Aung and other leaders, discussed the future course of action.
Mawii emphasized that the military regime has effectively captured and controlled military bases and cities, not merely through words, but through real and practical action. He stated that the next target for the revolution must be Nay Pyi Taw, the stronghold of the enemy.
"Taking the head of Min Aung Hlaing with a gunshot to remove him from power cannot be achieved merely by actions from Karenni or the (5) battalion. We must cross the war zone and reach the area beyond the battlefield to achieve real progress. That area is Nay Pyi Taw," Mawii said.
The two commanders of KNLA Battalion (2) also reported that heavy clashes erupted starting from the latter part of February due to reinforcements sent by the military junta, which led to casualties on both sides.
The ongoing period is extremely challenging for the revolution, with difficulties in securing supplies such as weapons, munitions, and advanced technology, Mawii added.
