๐๐ 5. Military Junta Leaders Lacking Compassion and Capability to Serve the People, Says Spokesperson
April 7
Radio NUG
The leaders of the terrorist military regime lack both compassion for the people and the competence to assist or safeguard public welfare, according to U Nay Phone Latt, the spokesperson for the Prime Minister’s Office.
Speaking on Episode 40 of “Spring News Highlights”, U Nay Phone Latt stated:
“These military leaders neither possess compassion for the people nor the ability or capacity to help them or serve the public interest. As long as such unqualified and incapable individuals continue to cling to power, the people will keep suffering from these dire consequences. Therefore, just as we are assisting the earthquake-affected communities, we must also remain unwavering in our pursuit of eradicating this military dictatorship—the core objective of our revolution.”
The devastating 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck on the afternoon of March 28, centered around Sagaing, has left thousands dead and injured. Yet, the terrorist military forces have completely failed to provide any assistance to the affected civilians.
