🚩🚩 1. KNDF Issues Security Alert for Villages Near Military Council Operations

The Karenni Nationalities Defense Force (KNDF) has issued a warning urging residents of villages near areas where the military council columns are advancing to remain vigilant and to strictly follow the instructions released by local revolutionary forces.
According to KNDF, since August, junta forces have been launching large-scale offensives into Demoso Township, Karenni State, and continue to push along the Demoso–Pruso–Bawlakhe highway, leading to ongoing battles along the route.
In Moebye town, junta troops are also active, reportedly arresting and torturing civilians in the town and surrounding villages.
Additionally, in Hpruso Township, joint military columns of the junta and the Pa-O National Organization (PNO) have been deployed toward Taung Salone Village.
In Demoso’s Daw Ngankha Ward, junta forces are conducting a full-scale offensive, resulting in intense clashes. The statement further noted that the junta is carrying out daily airstrikes, drone attacks, and heavy artillery shelling against Daw Ngankha and nearby villages.
It was also highlighted that along the Demoso–Pruso highway, junta troops are entrenching their positions and shelling nearby villages with heavy weapons.
Furthermore, it has been reported that junta convoys accompanying the offensive column from Demoso to Pruso have reached the No. (14) Military Training School, and from there, preparations are underway for further offensives into Bawlakhe Township.

🚩🚩 2. Elderly Woman in Tharyar Chaung Subjected to Sexual Assault by Junta Soldier

The “Dawei District Democracy Movement Strike Committee” has reported that an elderly woman in Ut Tu Village, Tharyar Chaung Township, Dawei District, Tanintharyi Region, was sexually assaulted by a junta soldier.
On September 27 at around 4:00 PM, a soldier from a junta column operating near Ut Tu Village reportedly raped a 75-year-old grandmother, who is also a disabled person with one leg amputated due to diabetes.
It was reported that she was alone at home when the incident occurred.
The statement condemned the soldier’s act as inhumane and extremely degrading, emphasizing that the elderly woman, already a vulnerable person, is now suffering both physically and psychologically due to this abuse.

🚩🚩 3. Military Informant in Okpho Township Shot Dead by Resistance Fighters

The Black Tiger unit under Battalion (3802), Company (5) of Sanyawaddy District, has announced that they shot dead U Myint Aung, a junta military informant and hundred-household head in Shan Kone Village, Okpho Township, Sanyawaddy District, Bago Region.
On September 27 at around 12:15 PM, Black Tiger guerrilla fighters went to U Myint Aung’s house and fired four shots, three of which struck his chest, killing him instantly.
According to the statement, U Myint Aung was a former soldier and staunch junta collaborator. He had been extorting money from villagers under the pretext of military conscription fees, ordering arrests of those unable to pay, and forcing young men into military service.
Due to these oppressive acts, the resistance decided to take action against him.

🚩🚩 4. Two CDF-KKG Fighters Killed in Major Operation

It has been reported that two fighters from the Chinland Defense Force – Kalay Kabaw Gangaw (CDF-KKG), one from Battalion (2) and one from Battalion (7), lost their lives during the ongoing CDF-KKG Major Operation.
During the battle in Kyan Thar on September 20, fighter Lal Rin Thang from Battalion (7) was killed in action, while fighter Van Ro Thang from Battalion (2) sustained injuries.
Van Ro Thang, also known as “Chin Lay,” later died from his wounds while receiving medical treatment on September 26.
CDF-KKG expressed deep respect and honor for their fallen comrades, stating that they had sacrificed their lives gloriously in the struggle to topple the military dictatorship, protect the people, and build a federal democratic union. The statement also conveyed condolences to their families.
