๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ 6. Temporary Travel Restrictions Imposed in Mobye for Public Safety

February 22, Radio NUG

For public safety, travel within Mobye will be temporarily restricted from February 24 to 28, and individuals with urgent matters are advised to coordinate with relevant battalions and security checkpoints, according to a statement from the Mobye People's Defense Force (PDF).

At the beginning of 2024, the junta launched a military offensive to reclaim lost territory, including an assault on Mobye. However, strong resistance from revolutionary joint forces inflicted significant casualties on junta troops.

As a result, the junta has been continuously bombarding Mobye with long-range artillery, drones, and airstrikes for over two months, deliberately targeting civilian areas.

In response, the Mobye PDF Battalion (1001) and KNDF Battalion (3) have appealed to the public for cooperation in ensuring safety during this period of restricted movement.

This military report was compiled by Radio NUG correspondents Min Sitt Thway and Khur Shel.
